ABOUT OUR TRIATHLON CLUB
The ultimate multi-sport challenge for endurance lovers
The triathlon arm of our club has been in existence since the club's formation in 2015. It remains a small yet dynamic division dedicated to developing the unique trio of disciplines of swimming, biking, and running that make up this challenging multi-sport.
Triathlon training is an excellent way to strengthen the whole body, combining three complementary sports that strengthen the heart, muscles, and mind while spreading stress across the body instead of overloading any single area.

THREE DISCIPLINES
Building complete athletes
Each training session develops one or more of the three core triathlon disciplines, with a focus on technique, fitness and enjoyment.

Swim
From mid-october till the end of april we train in the Mondzeu and in the summer season, we train in the open water in le Chable. During winter we organize 1-2 sessions per month in Martigny with a coach.

Bike
Outdoor cycling sessions during autumn and spring on Thursday evenings. Building bike handling skills, endurance, and confidence on the roads and trails of Val de Bagnes.

Run
Running sessions as part of multi-sport training on Thursdays. Developing running technique, pace control and the mental toughness that triathlon demands.
TRANING SCHEDULE
Year-round training, two seasons
Training takes place on Thursday evening.s During the autumn and spring, training is held outside in Le Châble as outdoor multi-sport sessions. During winter, training focuses on swimming in the Mondzeu and Martigny pool.
All levels meet together which builds team spirit. All members train at their own risk following a training plan adapted to their level.
We suggest bike routes for both roadbikers and mountain bikers.

RACING
Compete as a team
We invite our members to join us and compete in the Monthey triathlon in May, the Sion triathlon festival in August, and the sprint triathlon in Sierre in September.
We understand that our members have different goals and experiences. We invite everyone to train at their own level and we support sub-groups to train together. We invite you to compete under the flag of our Verbier triathlon club. And we are excited to tell you that we have ordered our first Verbier triathlon tri-suits to test out!
At the moment we do not have the possibility to offer the discounted year-round license with the Swiss Federation but if we get enough momentum, this will be offered again in the future.

TRIATHLON CLASSES & PLANS

Join our triathlon section and train across the three disciplines. Sessions year-round, open to all levels, from first-timers to experienced triathletes.

Year-round commitment
Members are expected to train year-round and commit to both the autumn/spring and winter training programmes.

Payment
CHF 150 per year. Payable by bank transfer, TWINT or cash.

Equipment
Athletes need their own swimwear, running shoes and a bicycle. The club provides pool training equipment.
